It’s Friday afternoon as I’m sitting down to write this weekend update, and to be completely transparent, I still have about 20 browser tabs left open that need to be resolved before calling it a week.
Have you ever been where I am?
One of the things we talk about in our Weekend Academy (which is coming up next weekend, btw) is a NOT TO DO LIST.
If you were to take a minute or two — right now — and think of all the things that you have to get done— those things that seem really important, but are, in reality, not moving you toward your goals… how long would that list be?
What if you were laser-focused on taking that next step toward whatever your dream “destination” might be?
Would your pace be quicker?
Your heart beat faster?
Your mind race with the possibilities?
What’s keeping you from that?
One of the tabs that I have open right now is The Weather Channel.
It isn’t work related, per se. But we have some readers from Louisiana, or folks with family there as they are bracing for Tropical Storm/Maybe Hurricane Barry to come ashore.
This email won’t go out until Sunday afternoon, and 48 hours is a long time from now when talking about storms.
I’m hoping you and yours stay(ed) safe through the storm.
I hope that you’re in a place where you’re able and willing to help those in need, if and when the need arises.
If you can help someone on the journey, do it.
